This is my website, chrisfieldsff.com. Here is what it collects about you, why, and who else sees it. If you have a question, email me at [email protected].

When you contact me

When you send a message through the contact or booking form, the site keeps what you typed (your name, email address and message) so I can read it and reply. A copy is emailed to me through Cloudflare’s email service. I don’t add you to my email list because you sent a message, and I don’t sell or share what you send.

My email list

If you sign up for my emails, your name and email address go to Kit (kit.com), the service I use to send them. Kit records when you open an email or click a link in it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave whenever you like. Kit’s privacy policy is at kit.com/privacy.

Analytics

I use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It sets cookies and collects things like the pages you view, roughly where you are and what kind of device you use. I see this only as totals, not as information about you personally. You can opt out with Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Google’s privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Hosting and security

The site runs through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks and may set a small security cookie. Like any website, the server keeps basic logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) for security and to fix problems.

Your choices

You can ask me to send you a copy of what I have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email [email protected] and I’ll take care of it.
